Description

This subsoiler has toothed discs in front of each arm; these effectively cut through the grass and soil before the arms penetrate the ground to a depth of up to 50–60 cm. The toothed discs ensure that the tines do not damage the soil surface.

ROCK PROTECTION

Soil with lots of stones

  • Hydraulic rock protection is the best option when working on rocky soil. A cylinder on each tine allows the tines to automatically swing upward when they strike rocks and return to their original position when there is no pressure.

Soil with few stones

  • For fields with few stones, the Quick-Push stone protection system is the best choice. Once the tine hits a stone, the safety pin will shear off in 8 steps. The simple procedure of removing the R-clip and reinserting the pin can be done entirely without tools, and you’ll be ready to work in no time.

Rollers

BREAK UP THE CLUMPS EFFICIENTLY

A 550-cm square-tube roller breaks up clods in light soils and ensures good depth control.

COMPLETELY LEVEL SURFACE

By mounting a Star roller across the entire working width of the machine, the soil surface is compacted after subsoiling. In addition, the grass surface is lightly aerated, which can encourage the grass to produce new lateral shoots. A roller spanning the entire width of the machine is also an effective way to reduce damage to the soil surface.

MINIMAL DISRUPTION TO SOIL MICROORGANISMS AND

With a separate star roller, the surface is completely sealed within the roller’s tracks, ensuring minimal disturbance to soil microorganisms. The weight of the subsoiler is distributed across several smaller contact areas, thereby increasing pressure, compacting the soil more firmly, and effectively closing the gaps between the tines.
